Girls Trip to St. George

Some of the girls I work with went to St. George a couple of weekends ago. We all love being together outside of work and decided we needed a little vacation together. Lucky for us one of the Doctors that works in our office has a condo in St. George and was nice enough to let us stay there. Ally also happens to be his granddaughter and she was able to get us around town. We laughed a lot, ate good food, and lounged by the pool. It was very relaxing, just what we all needed. We had planned to do so much more but their wasn't enough hours in the day to get it all done so we have to plan another trip. We missed the rest of the girls that weren't able to go and hope they can go next time.

I think the drive down there was my favorite part. It was pretty comical

We went to Grandma Tobbler's bakery. It obviously has really good things to eat. I am in love with their coconut tart. I m still craving it.
Can you tell that we are just a little excited to eat our treats?

Gone Fishn'

Our summer has already started off being very busy so we took the first opportunity we had to go fishing together. I don't really care to fish but I love to just be outside in nature, so it works great for us. I don't remember the place we went but it was about an hour drive and 30 minute walk to get to where the " good" fishing spots were. Chris had success and caught a some fish, so the time it took to get there was worth it. It was a little chilly from time to time but overall is was fun.

This is right after I yelled at Chewy for eating some kind of wilderness animal poo. Yuck! Whatever it was I think it made him look like one of those evil gremlins.

He got really hot so the first spot we stopped at he ran straight into the river and and just flopped his belly onto the rocks. It looked funny i wish I would have gotten a picture. This was his first hike and he did really good until it was about time to go home. We better get him into shape because that was nothing compared to what we usually do.
